Not a bad plan actually Munter - by the looks of Costa there is good money in making a brew and a bun!

Stick to the cars Neil, you've got a superb product there that deserves to succeed. We're all struggling to find funding which is a crying shame as we've got some world class machines in this country that are all too often messed with by people's eagerness to sell bad news.NY.
If Britain was more positive and backed what we can build, rather than cheap talk about, we'd put the Great back into Britain again. I hope you continue to continue on upwards with good work Neil. See you at Exeter.
Yep looking forward to Exeter Show - we have a double stand and are exhibiting the new Toniq CB200 demonstrator car following the first journalist road tests of the car in the week leading up to the show.
Exeter is always great fun - and a show which is the one show a year not too far away for us!
Cheers for the support guys - nice to know that you are all behind us - we are also getting on to the BBC as well as that news went out without any calls to us to confirm the story or get our perspective on things - not the approach that I would expect from unbiased reporting.
But then I guess the story is less interesting if it contains the full facts!

I am a Director of Arden Automotive (The Garage in Didcot - Didcot Auto Centre) and it was me who collected the car from Adrenaline yesterday.
This is typical TV/Journo! This interview was meant to be about how small businesses are being helped (or not!) by the banks. I think we could all do with a bit more help from the banks (or other investors) and I am confidant that Neil, Tom and the rest of the guys in Cornwall will still be supplying us and you with a range of blistering performance cars.
As for the electricity being cut off and Adrenaline going broke! That was just the words of someone trying to be dramatic for TV and enforcing why the banks should be more helpful to small companies!
At Arden Automotive we have been working with Adrenaline for almost two years now and expect to be doing so for the foreseeable future.

The gentleman being interviewed made those comments regarding receivers and electricity not the journalist......
Quite agree Jeff - saying something for effect without thinking through the consequences - the Beeb have edited the full interview to suit their own purposes and change the emphasis and context of what was being said but are certainly not responsible for what is said to them. They should however have checked their facts pre-broadcast!
We should also keep in mind that John has done his own business no favours by effectively telling the world that he is operating it off of personal credit cards and loans....... not the best PR work he has done! Again a statement which does not really reflect the trading position of Arden's business and which was made for emphasising the effect of the lenders attitude to small businesses at the moment - makes sense when you are saying it but does not make the point you meant to when being watched by people who are assessing comments at face value without understanding what is driving them.
A sorry episode all round really which hopefully - at least in the realms of Pistonheads - can be put to bed now that the facts are out there in circulation through this forum. Doesn't help with all the people that will have seen the programme who do not frequent this website though!

I have an order on a Murtaya which is supposed to be completed mid December. Cant wait!As its almost fully paid for I am relieved that things are OK at Adrenaline. Mines in the paint shop hopefully getting a lovely coat of pepper white.
Just love that demon blue Murtaya, nice choice of colour!

Your Murtaya looks the business. After seeing yours I must say I started second guessing my choice on colour. The colour is/was probably the most difficult choice to make. Are there any bits you would change if you had to spec the car over again?

I am going to have the interior done by a company called Route66.I am having them stitch the car up in leather. Just once again cannot decide on colours. Any ideas?Edited by SA boy on Friday 13th November 11:09
Thanks - it is a real beast!
Any changes to spec? not really, I went as expensive as I could on as much as I could and then planned to upgrade the other stuff later.
Here is the decision making process I went through when choosing colour.
Conservative so it does not stand out too much to Bib and Chavs
Not pale in case it makes it look too plasticy
Came down to a metallic rich burgundy green or blue in a TVR style - I do love the dark TVR green (no idea what it is called). Ended up with blue cos I saw a few dark green cars that were dirty and they looked dirty but the dark blues did not look as bad.
Leather interior will be nice!!
My next 'upgrade' will be an interior mat solution - it is nice having a car where adding stuff/changing stuff is part of it.

I did the same, go for what I can afford for now and add other bits later. I really lucked out with the donor. Came with converted 2.5 which had just had the motor upgraded with 2.5 bottom end and forged pistons, lightened crankshaft and what not.Ready for bigger power when I can afford it.
Light colour plasticy?, dam. Hope not, that really wouldn't be the look I was going for. I also initially wanted a dark colour, black in fact. There white one looked so good I changed my mind. Black when dirty doesn't look good. Yours however gets away with it. I also have considered post box red. Upon seeing there rally car in red I changed my mind.
Your interior idea sounds interesting. Would you think of getting the newer dash fitted then as well? Have you seen the latest dashboard? It can fit a double din stereo,so there is a new centre piece.

I just want loads of people to buy Murtaya's so there can be some depreciated 2nd hand ones to buy. For the last 3 years (the first icy day I drove my now track only car to work) I've wanted a light weight 2 seater soft top silly turbo power plastic 4wd car. I found the Murtaya a little later but they are simply too expensive for me I had to buy a mid engined 2wd plastic car instead, not that theres anything wrong with that Still would like a Murtaya though
I was un-aware there was a dealer in Didcot, I live only 3 miles from Didcot I'm suprised I've never seen one on the road in the flesh.
