Are you being ironic? The Z4 is a marvellous looking car, far, FAR nicer than a Libra. Dont be so defensive will you, this is not the first time you have had a go at someone because they dont like the look of the car you have. If you think its pretty then whats your problem?

ETA: I even said it would otherwise be the ideal kit car - jeesh some people want it all rolleyes

How dare you! eek

Is there a better looking original design Kit car?
Not that many but that is the biggest problem with the kit car industry.

However since you ask!

Each to their own. To my eyes it's a quite hideous thing, I don't think I'm alone.....

Looking at the sketches, it's good to see that at least someone is looking at designing!! There are so many kits out there that look as though they've been thought out using a straight edge.. Lots of time is taken on the chassis and drive train but when it comes to making things look good , in my opinion, people just don't think about aesthetics which is after all why most people buy something.. Good forward thinking and good sketches, lets start seeing some more good looking cars.. Well done...

Completely agree! These, and the ones in CKC, are really nice designs. I hope GTM do something with them Italo, on a restyled Libra or a new car smile .

I wouldn't quite agree that the Libra is "ugly"! Maybe only 90% pretty, but definately not ugly! In contrast, a TVR S3 does in fact look like my mother-in-law! And she aint pretty..... Beauty is obviously in the eye of the beholder. I could reel off about 40 ugly kit cars, but the Libra will not be one of them. It has not dated at all to my mind and is a credit to Richard Oaks.

its not really an everyday proposition though, like the libra/spyder can be

I totally agre with you, and that is why it's a tough act to follow for anyone wanting to design a new model....smile

I agree with you, as nice as the slc might look, it's just a weekend toy........the libra can be an everyday proposition, and very few kits can claim that.....

That looks like an out and out race car. It's bloody lovely, but where are the headlights, indicators, door mirrors, tax disc and number plates?? Doesn't quite look road legal to me, Ultima and Radical have that base covered.

Oh don't mind tomTVR - he always likes to take the "contrary view" and stir up controversy. He thrives on it.

Personally, I love the GTM Libra and always have done. Gorgeous little car.

Where was i laughing at you? I didnt start anything, you did because you have an ugly car and you know you have an ugly car. Even if you think its pretty it clearly pisses you off that other people think its ugly, otherwise you wouldnt react.

As i said, try not to worry about what other people think.
