Try buying just Kit Car and hiding Which Kit? behind Mayfair if you can reach (I can’t so I hide them behind Railway Modeler on the bottom shelf that I can reach)

Now do you mean the magazine or the square on the board game?

Funny that, the name of that boardgame seems to be what you are trying to achieve

My stockist of both mags (the famous Esso garage!) splits all of its magazines into two different magazine racks.

One has all of the daily newspapers at the bottom, and then has all of the "Homes/Gardens/Computer/TV etc" magazines, the other has all of the motoring magazines, the Lad's mags (FHM, Loaded, Bizarre, Stuff etc) and the Adult mags.

They put WK and KC on the top shelf next to "Rustler" or "40 Plus" or something like that..... so when I go in to pick my copies up, it always looks like "I want to buy porn, but as someone else is there, I daren't pick it up, so grab the nearest thing which happens to be a car magazine....."

Mildly amusing.....

I often question my own motives PeetBee, and I can assure you that I have no objection to healthy competition.

The problem is that I face what I see as a totally disreputable adversary whose stooped to the lowest depths of depravity to his further his cause against me. I was subject to a most outrageous campaign and lost all that was dear to me. My health, my marriage suffered (but survived) and I lost the product of 20 years graft. More than that, I can’t even think of setting up in my professional capacity as an engineer (in which I have an honours degree ) again whilst Fib’s ‘rules the roost’ or even that part of it that he’s presently ruling.

Let me give you another part of the story (and believe me there’s much that hasn’t yet come out). Earlier this year, Fib’s and I settled the legal dispute on terms that he apologized publicly. His statement of retraction and apology was read in the High Court. The full Order goes on to say that each party “publish the statement set out in the Order. . . . . .in one issue of Kit Car magazine and Which Kit? magazine within 3 months of the date of this Order.”

It was when Fib’s refused (along with all the other matters) that I ‘lost it’ and started my campaign. A bit more information is that I went to the PCC whose first rule is that if a publisher is involved in a legal action for defamation then it MUST publish the result. So I turned to them, only to find that because I was also a publisher, they refused to take action. As I said I lost it.

If Fib’s was in any other profession, he’d be forced to fall on his sword. Sadly he’s not in any other profession and the only way to bring him to heel is by my aggressive policy.

I really don’t want Which Kit? to close down. I’d just like Fib’s to P155 off and give it to someone of integrity like Steve Hole or Ian Stent.

PeetBee,
You didn’t upset me and we are still .

You did kind of touch a nerve, but that’s my fault not yours.

As for a beer – I owe you one – so next time there’s a show, you’ll know where to find me (behind the building in a pool of blood with numerous pins all over my mortal remains – not to mention a few bruises).

BTW Exactly when is your happy day?
