Still waiting to hear from AK and DAX....Don't know wether to contact that dodgy pilgrim company ( Hi Den, only joking ) But I'm certain that Python will be there!! ( er' Hi Den again) Actually forgot to contact python...strange. Don't really want other mag nicking our ideas.

But, just for you ex biker, I'm pleased to say that AK want to attend with their cobras.

As do Rs jigtec with the "trackstar".

I have to admit that I was concerned about planning this via a public forum, but Den was keen to get everyones opinions, its for you guys after all.

Yes, it is strange putting ones commercial strategy on public display. But I really want you guys to ‘own’ what I’m involved with.

I got very bruised by the accusations and recriminations of certain folk last time I got involved and I don’t want that to happen again. Guess I made that clear – sorry!

If you (by which I mean everybody) wants it, I’ll back it and put my name to it and throw my weight behind it.

I’ve said this before, but I’m really encouraged with progress so far. If the event itself can succeed then I’m sure that I can generate spin-off benefits for the magazine.

I was slightly concerned by this being so public... a lot of work appears to have been done already to get this far, and if "someone else" suddenly came up with the same idea, I think it would be disappointing.

Mind you, if "someone else" did "come up" with the idea, at least Den would be able to use more of the emoticons!

To a certain degree, I can't see how this event could be anything but successful..... the idea has been bounced around, and the "fee paying public".... or "us" all appear to have given it the nod of approval.

Personally, I can't wait!

I don’t see a problem with it being broadcast.

The only danger I foresee is my getting cold feet or running into practical difficulties and hence backing out.

But with the enthusiasm you're showing it’s simply got to happen.

Yes, it's certainly getting more and more certain...I've now got a provisional list of dates, and was wondering what months appeal most / clash with other kit shows / expenditure etc, etc

Oh, and another thing, GTM want to attend, subject to price and dates etc.
