Just to put the dampeners on it.

Don’t believe everything you hear though.

Thank you
However would you believe that MrsBee didn't want to return from honeymoon early just so I could go to Exeter! In the interest of making our marriage last a bit longer than that I have retaliated by advising her that once we do get back she won't see anything of me as I will be out in the garage fixing my Dutton.

As he feels sorry for me TigerK will be helping me reassemble it

To get the thread back on track, Exeter is brilliant, enjoyed it very much last year and will have to go next year. Den can you buy TigerK the pint you would have bought me?

It’s a brilliant show (forgetting the cold outside). However, I don’t think I’ll be able to afford it, what with all those I’ll have to buy.

Hope the takings will cover it.

Hang on a minute..... you arranged to get married without consulting the calendar for event clashes first?

Shame on you

I know, but it's too late to do anything about it now! I'll be more careful in future, I promise.

Getting there!

Just in case you don't know. . .

(coming from up country) Get off the M5 at J30 (services). Stay in left lane.
At roundabout (under M5) turn left heading towards Exmouth. Again stay in left lane.
At roundabout go straight on (A3052). Showground on the left in 1/2 mile (ish)

Unsure, try this link:

www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=297500&y=91500&z=3&sv=297500,91500&st=4&ar=N&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf

Middle, left show showground - that's it!!!

Exeter's near the end of the world, why put on a show there? Carn't you put one on in Norwich?

Alan Partridge: "It'll really put Norwich on the map"

Tony Hares: "Why would I want to do that?"

Alan Partridge: "Good point....."

I'll get my coat.....

About another 85 miles and you reach my house. Now that's near the end of the world.

But hey, from here the only way is up!!

Fair point.

But there are many disadvantages too. Ever tried going to race meetings? want to see a show? Need a donor car? or parts? Then there's the little thing about wages. . . . lets just say that the new Nat Min Wage rise affected Cornwall more than most areas.

In my job I have to tell people would want to relocate down here that the £35k they were on in (eg) Berkshire is about the equivelant as £20k here. This in not a joke either.

I take it there won't be a show here then , thats not fair! I have to travel to Stoneleigh or Donnington for a kitcar show, as for exeter, thats just a bit too far in this whether, hope you have a good time,

This summer I've actually been travelling down to Exeter for a lot of four wheeled fun!

If you own a Tiv then Exeter onwards has got to be one of the most active regions in the country. They certainly know how to enjoy themselves!
