At this rate, if "Kit car" carries on like this, I will be able to cancel my subscription to The "Beano" and The "Dandy"....

All it needs now are a few expletives in the text, and I can cancel my subscription to "Viz"....

Welcome home Wacky, I was thinking I’d upset you.

Reports of exhausted supplies are upsetting me . The situation is the same in the two Brighton WH Smith’s branches local to me.

Like I said earlier, the general aim is to place the right number plus one on each shelf. The print run for this issue was 26,500, which is as high as it’s ever been. I’m not sure what to do about it. Like was said in another thread, it makes Which Kit? look more popular than it is when there are loads of copies on display and no Kit Car.

I’m so concerned that I’m thinking of pulling forward the next issue by a week. Would it hurt if it were on sale on 12th (instead of 19th) December?

What a lovely problem?

How about if anyone happens to be in their local newsagent, they look for Kit Car.

If there is a copy of WK? but no Kit Car, ask why they haven't got it. If we all do it WH Smiths and the like might realise they don't stock enough Kit Car!

In order to show no favouritism, you could always ask for What Micro? too

Thanks for the welcome back Den...

Well, in my local WH Smith's (Bury), I can very rarely get "Kit Car" before the 23rd, but Fib's mag is usually on sale around the 16th....

So, I think this puts you at a big disadvantage (OK I know your sales are higher anyway), but some months a lot of the features are duplicated in both mags, for example to new Luego, so I can see plenty of people buying WK? cos' it comes out first, then thinking it's not worth buying Kit car because they have already bought one, perhaps for financial considerations.

So Den, I think it would be an idea to steal a march on Fib's by beating him to the shelves, but then he might think," well I'll bring mine out on the 7th", you could go on forever....

btw, Who is Amy Filby, his wife, daughter, sister??? she is a little bit tasty.....

I think I will accept your advice and try to pull the publication date forward to counter the potential loss of ers to which you refer.

If it results in Fib’s pulling his forward too, then I’ll deal with that as a separate issue.

Amy’s his daughter, from his first misses.

I assumed daughter, as the other possibility would result in a "Dirty old fr" or "lucky bd" thread

oh dear. Have you not been following Den's monologues. The man has the most paranoid tendancies to report the truth and not get caught out.

Wow !

I go out on business for the afternoon, and find upon my return that I’ve been .

Not only that, but I’ve been arrested too!

Seems I’ve been charged with wearing LOUD JUMPERS with intent to offend.

Dealing with the censorship issue, I only said that Fib’s ex was (presumably still is) beautiful, just like Amy and (btw Mrs Kitcarman is going to kill me).

The remainder of the charges are admitted.

Sorry Ted and Mr Sensor Sir!

As was said of a famous DJ, I’ve the perfect face for radio. . . .and jumpers to match.

Great idea

I’m convinced that matters are in a state of flux in that Kit Car sales are increasing whilst Which Kit? are falling. The shops haven’t yet caught on. Well that’s my hope, anyway.

It would help if shop managers knew of the shifting demands.
