Where? I don’t recall using your correspondence.
It’s probably a sign of the onset of senility.

Emmm! That’s Iain’s work. I didn’t do it - honest guv! Personally, I wouldn’t have replied in those terms.

In fact I didn’t reply in those terms, did I Andy?

Whilst you are in a problem-solving mood....

"I've got this mole y'know...."

Sorry, that is completely off-topic, and will only make sense to a few of the over 30's!

I assume you've read / got a copy of Little Zit on the Side?

If not, seek it out. Absolutely fantastic book. And it contains the lyrics to the Magic Roundabout that was the B Side to Funky Moped.

Edited to say: And I'm not anywhere near being over 30

Yep, I have a copy of "Little Zit on the Side", also have "Pain in the arm" and "Rabbits on and on"

Was always a fan as a kid, although wasn't over-awed by some of his later TV offerings.

Met him through work recently.... I was directing a TV shoot on which he was involved.... really nice chap.... when I let it slip that I was a fan, he kept dropping a few of the "classic" gags into the conversation before cameras rolled.... had the whole crew in stitches, so much so that we over-ran our time by 45 minutes!

I'd loved to have been there for that meeja. Not convinced by some of his tv offerings but when he did "Back to the front" he had me in tears of mirth. Particularly with his "yat" story.:tears rolling down face:
