You can get the videos direct from i2i now, not sure when they will have the DVDs. Only problem is that they aren't set up for any payments yet so you will have to stick a cheque in the post...

The DVD's are set for launch in February next year, and will be available from all the usual outlets (play.com, Amazon, presumably High Street HMV and Virgin too)

My understanding is that the core footage is copyright i2i who sold it to Discovery. I paid i2i to produce an edited, shorter 2 ½ hour version to sell to promote the Kit Car industry generally and Pilgrim specifically. The editing cost me a Chevy engine.

I don't know the exact price of Chevy Engines (or indeed how much you can get them for Den!) but that seems like a poor deal to be honest!

The shortened 2 1/2hr video will have been produced from the film timelines of the original TV show (ie cutting and pasting) I would imangine it would be less than a weeks work for one (half decent) editor.

At the day-rate I work at for Non-Linear editing (and I'm not cheap, but by no means the most expensive!) you could have got a few weeks work out of me for the price of a Chevy engine!
