It supports some several shows and three magazines, and there's quite a few manufacturing companies of various sizes.

I'd be interested to hear any information, anecdotal or whatever as to what kind of sales any, or even all, of the manufacturing firms are achieving.

I think outside of Caterham, Westfield , Ultima & Robin Hood most of the other manufacturers would count their annual sales in single figures to low teens to twenties. You only have to think how long some of the companies have been going & how few of their cars you see on the roads or even at shows.

I understand MK are well into 4 figures since they started, which I guess would be around ten years ago.

When I had closer links with MK, 2-3 years back they where doing well into 3 figures a year, they have since moved to larger premiss's and employ more staff, never seems quiet when I go over there, always plenty of work on.

They have diversified into trikes as well to over the last couple of years, most of their trike work is word of mouth, they don't advertise at all, guess trikes was a natural progression from BEC's which they do a lot of.

The last I heard, MNR was selling 2 or 3 a week, putting them just into the top 10. The top few sell hundreds per year. Its a business worth tens of millions of pounds per year.

Ultima?
They might be on a lot of peoples wish lists but they are price prohibitive to the vast majority.
I would think Pilgrim have sold way more of their Cobra clones over the years than Ultima have their cars.
I would also not be surprised if all of the above put together had not sold as many cars as Dutton did in their day.
Dax currently produce over 50 kits per year.(Cobra + Rush) and have sold over 3000 in total AFAIK.
