I just use a socket on the nuts on the outside - I am guessing the inside part is a captured bolt. Mine have not moved that much at all, just a little tweak approx every 5 months or so. I slacken off the nuts a little, lift the door up and tighten them back up.

One option would be to get the hinges from a scrapped Elise or VX220 I would have thought, they have quite large ally hinges.

My Murt died frown
5 hour stop-start traffic jam on the M3 boiled it and killed the temperature sensor I think, the drive home cooked it. Looks like a new engine which I can't afford!
These cars are SO cursed!

Yeah pretty sure mine was electrics although can never rule out some kind of airlock in the cooling system. Why the hell is there no air bleed nipple on those systems????

Hi,
I'm interested in buying a Murtaya - where can I find a secondhand example please?

Mark
What kind of money were you thinking of vs what kind of spec? I think everyone has a different spec, I don't think there are any two that are alike are there?

Garaged until I have sufficient funds to spend on it instead of doing it on a budget!

No news here, car mothballed for a while - prob til summer. Need to get funds together to send it to MSC and have some work done, also trying to save up for a better commuter bike, the VFR is too racy for me so looking at a nice BMW GS.

I don't have air-con and only have two knobs, fan speed and one which claims it is heat. That is something I want to get sorted before next winter!

There were times when it did work (fairly random) and when it did it did a good job. I also had the heated screen but that needs replacing as the elements have gradually failed over time and use.

Really glad you are enjoying it Mike!!! It looks so good!
Mine is due to be picked up and revamped in the next couple of weeks. I REALLY want to get it into the super car paddock at Wilton House next year.. AND to win some sprints!
