Looks like a slightly melted Defender to me. Get your welding torch out.
True, but if we had a structurally sound Defender then none of this would be relevant! We need to replace the rusty Disco bodywork with something MOT-able, hence looking at the kit options.

this kit is for a disco, the idea is that it replaces the disco's rotting body work.

It's not cheap, though. Looking at the prices I think, unless I really needed it to be as light as possible, I'd be inclined to just buy a Disco that's wasn't rotting, easily possibly when you add the cost of an NCF kit to the value of a rotting one.

SC what are you saying man? Put your business hat on.

Your response should have been 'Kitcar...certainly sir, I can build that for you,

Well If you're not going to I will 'Kitcar...we can build that for you, what colour would sir like'

I tend not to get involved at the beginning of a kit car build, certainly no one has mentioned it to me yet. Must be nice for you guys assembling Ultimas from packages of new components. No, I tend to get involved when it's all gone wrong, or when the build has stopped, or got a bit complicated.

In most cases, though, I expect anyone wanting a kit build for them, from scratch, is going to approach the manufacturer first. That's why I would like to become a manufacturer, sell the kits for bread and butter, and do full builds for jam.

I think this is based on an unmodifed Discovery chassis so no IVA required. I recall reading about it months ago and it was due to be launched at one of the main kitcar shows this year (Stoneleigh?)but I can only assume that didn't happen as it was never mentioned in any of the post-show reviews I read. Action Automotive's web site has shown the status 'New Storm Warrior Thunderwagon is comming' for a few months now.

Hi guys, "Sorry" I jumped the gun, the picture of the Storm Warrior Thunderwagon prototype is not for publication at the moment. I was ask by the owner of the company[nicely] to remove the picture until complete kits are available to the public. The car has been in development for 18 months and the prototype is near complete. Since the chassis has not been modified, the car will be i.v.a exempt. Will post new pics as soon as possible.
