Perfect weather, who wouldn't want one!!!!

First full tank test - £12.50 to fill (2 Gallon) gets you over 75mpg from a 400cc - even with my driving!!!!!!

Happy days,, I'm off back out again for another ride,,,,,,,

BTW, what is it classed as? I wonder if it can still go in the motorcycle bays, or if you have to buy a parking ticket for it?

It's classed as a "Motor Tricicle" - so motor cycle bays as far as I'm concerned!!!

I love this idea and the way it is developing. Very similar to italos basic principle but for it to be used in the UK as a daily commuter vehicle I really think it needs more weather protection.

Except, unlike a motorbike, you cannot filter through the traffic.
Is there room for a passenger?

Not sure the Mrs will be too chuffed with that as we car share.

Just think with 2 seats and some weather gear this would make a perfect commuter vehicle. Like Italos idea in another thread.

Trouble is to achieve these, there are some major hurdles !!

Firstly redesign of the whole chassis both length and width!! Which would probably also include a engine upgrade to maybe CBR600 or so,,,

Weather gear, MSVA issues - finding the correct size screen, which is readily available, pivoting roof for access etc, not mention the development cost!

And lastly the price!!! If all of this could be done, would anybody like it! (As we all picky) and what would the end price be?

I suspect it would end up close to the Tr1ke etc and that's not were we want to be, we offer a cheap economical vehicle for both fun and comuting

Going up against some of the best Trikes ever design would be complete suicide IMHO

Fair point I guess I'll have to keep looking. But I do like this and I am actually sorely tempted.

I appreciate it would mean a bit of a redesign but why would that automatically mean an engine upograde. Surely for a commuter trike you want a small economic engine, not major HP, so why would it end up close to the Tr1ke. Also the Tr1ke as good as it is, it also doesnt have any weather gear.

The added benefit, IMHO, to the burgman engine gearbox package is that it is essentially an autobox so when stuck in traffic as you will invariably be when commuting you are not having to keep dipping and possibly riding the clutch which Im sure a CBR clutch wouldnt take too kindly to.

I may be being a bit Dim here but why would you be going up against some of the best trikes ever designed? Which trikes are you thinking about?

Im not trying to be argumentative just bringing my point of view to the discussion. Yes I do like the Exo-Eco R and can see the benefits, but ...
