Thank you for all your kind words.

Stefan I have about 11K US invested. The Shocks alone were 2K!

The Quality of the kit is great and has enough latitude to make it your own. The changes I made reflected what I wanted in looks, ease of maintenance and durability that I achieved with this build.

Scott is correct in the price point as mine is closer to the cost of a Tr1ke but for me this is still a lot cheaper than a Can Am Spider and a whole lot more fun!

Everything is relative but as all of the kind remarks you have made it is a nice balanced design that has no equal for the cost in the US as of this time.

Scott, Hats off to you for building such a fine kit!

I do appreciate the update. Given the specification, the care with which you put the car together and the real cost of all the bits and MSVA charges etc (I assumed it was MSVA.) I thought it would be in excess of £10,000 and £11,000 sounds an excellent price to me given the exceptional results. I do hope you get some years of fun from this car it looks a hoot to drive and is a real credit to you. I must congratulate you on a quite outstanding build and a most informative thread.

Avoid my mistake of writing off the first kit car I built personally, a Lotus Super Seven Big Valve Twin Cam back in 1963. I was being an idiot as my parents feared, but I managed to escape injuries in the crash which was a triple roll over completely disintegrating the car. Pure luck. However I still wish wish I had that car now, every day!! Served me right and slowed me down fortunately. Please avoid that example!!

I am selling several Kit cars currently which I have finished this year to buy more kit cars and on another thread I have set out my thoughts on my next purchases which have boiled down to me looking for an old recoverable Berkeley and investigating the practicalities of fitting in a big M/C engine and drive, probably Suzuki, and seeing what that will do as a pairing. I need the funds, to set off on another build purely because I love building. restoring and modifying Kit Cars.

Very well done to you once again. A truly outstanding result.

Yes Scott is correct. It would be about £6,500 GBP. The Trooper came to my house for the inspection and had a check list to make sure all the systems worked and the trike was roadworthy. It was not as intense as the MSVA you have in Europe.

Stefan I can't wait to get my plates in the next few days. I like building but I like driving even better. You have such eloquent use of words that I could never master.

Thanks Scott. The custom front shocks that Works Performance made really turned out nice. It only has about 3" of wheel travel before hitting the bump stop when I have 1.5" of frame clearance at that point. I did a quick test drive and it still feel very smooth to me.

Now that the Eco Exo R is fully titled, Registered and insured I did 150 miles on the 4th and had a blast. I had so much fun that I got a burn on my forehead but I should be healed by the end of the week.

I did find the Eco Exo R a bit sensitive at 60MPH. It is precise but the slightest movement on the wheel and she would move. I used the video that Stuart posted on aligning the front wheels and did the following.

Toe in with the two 12' angle irons placed against the wheels were about an inch more on each side in the rear so I have a slight toe in on each wheel.

Caster was set at 4 degrees that was close to stock. I was able to get 6 degrees on each side and that seemed to work well. This made making the adjustable top A-arm a blessing for me.

Camber with me in it was set so it was just slightly negative.

After the test ride I really saw a great improvement. It was as steady at 60MPH as it was at 40MPH before the alignment.

I took it past 65MPH and it got steadier! I think I am getting some down force action on the front end that is helping.

I am really happy now! With all the changes I can now move the wheel a little bit without having the trike dart as before and is really enjoyable to drive.

I am averaging 60 MPG overall so pretty pleased about that.

I am also able to hear the stereo up to 45MPH and that has been working well including the FM radio. The GPS also work good in its location which really surprised me as I thought I might have problems in that location.

I had a lot of complements how quiet it is and have had absolutely no problems with the engine or any other mechanical parts of the trike in the 175 mile I have put on it so far.

This has been a real winner for me and is way beyond what I was expecting.

Here are the first test videos so you can see how it goes down the road.

Thanks Woody!

After the alignment it drives like a dream. It sure was worth the 16 months to build it after driving it this last time.

Thanks Scott

I have over 750 miles on it now with not a single problem so I now can take it on extended trips without having to worry about a break down.

Just to finish it off I am building a new carbon seat from a mold I was able to get. It is custom made and 27" high. This is the same height as the seat I have installed now.

It will look like this when done with adjustable lumbar support and all black upholstery with red stitching.

The back of the seat will be all carbon with a clear coat to match the rear bulkhead cover. It will also have some custom seat mounts with four 3/8" quick release pins to quickly remove the seat when working on the engine.

This should be the last detail I wanted to do on the build.

Thanks for making such a nice design. It has been a real head turner and everyone seems to love it when they see it for the first time.
