It does look good, and I am thinking of one with a proper seat as a single seater, with a little weather protection, perhaps perspex sides like the Sonic on display.

Fer was thinking the same thing about weather protection and stiggy pointed out the rocket with the clear perspex inside the chassis so you still get the exo effect but protection from the weather. Also would consider putting a small bike screen in front of the handle bars just for a little extra protection.

We had a fantastic response to the ECO-EXO at Stoneleigh, however the Sonic7 is our bread and butter car and I am delighted to say that we are very busy with Sonic orders now and that means I have no spare time to spend building ECO-EXO's. It is fully developed and ready to go but I will be spending my time increasing Sonic7 production facilities and output.
I am keen that the ECO-EXO does not get shelved and forgotten about, interest is high right now as you would expect as everyone is concerned about transport costs. Something needs doing with the ECO-EXO sooner rather than later.
To this end if you have the desire to take it and start a small business then here is your opportunity. £5000 plus £50 royalties per sale, thats all. I will include full back up to ensure it goes in to production and also throw in my prototype and the grp moulds. Please call me if you can make it happen. Apologies to those that wish to place an order, please hang on, it's going to happen. Regards Stiggy

That's sounds like a very good deal. One question that interested people are sure to ask is about the very tasty looking tube bending on the chassis, and what sort of tube bending equipment would be needed to produce more?

It does sound somethng that I would love to take on, but I am not sure that I am the right person, although I would still like to be an early customer.

Maybe I should just put a bid in on the prototype?

Tube bending is not an issue, you just google tube manipulators and there are loads of them.

I would be interested in the eco-exo project if I wasnt looking at buying a new house and have a wife who keeps reminding of it when I suggest every little expense.

Bravo. I lack the skillset, the space, the bandwidth, and am not even in the right country but find myself tempted.... Not only is this ridiculously cheap, it comes from one of the most prolific & successful designers on the current scene, which can only have a positive halo effect, and seems to fit the mood perfectly against the current economic backdrop, especially fuel prices, and you already have a demonstrator. Compare & contrast with most projects offered for sale: some moulds, a chassis, some documentation if you're lucky and a price based on what's been invested rather than it's potential sales.

Fer's fantasy trike sounds a lot like Eco-Endo with a steering wheel - surely first few sales of Eco-Exo would subsidise development of basic panels and canopy? If they could be retro-fitted to the Eco-Exo you could even offer a discount upgrade...

That was my thinking too, but like yourself I lack the skills to do this justice, although the more time goes on, the more tempted I am. I want to go for a wheel so I could look at a nice canopy to pop over the driver once the bodywork is completed and the trike is basically weather proof.

Is there anyone Kent-based that is interested in this too? I'm very very tempted! Got ideas for a full body or at least a canopy that I'd love to make happen
Merde, I am about 90 miles from you. I have some thoughts on what I would like to see on it, so if you do find backing I would welcome the chance to discuss it over a beer.

Delighted to report that 3 friends of mine who have been building MEV's for a few years now have taken on the ECO-EXO project.
The quality of the work they have done on MEV Rockets has been excellent so I have no doubt that we can look forward to seeing a great product in the coming months. For now if you would like to show an interest please use info@mevltd.co.uk and I will forward them to Scott.
Thanx for all your kind support PHers. Regards Stiggy

Glad to hear that the project is being continued. It should bring a lot more younger people onto the Kit car scene, which is always a good thing. Good News. I look forward to seeing what they have to bring to the Eco-Exo.

Nice one.

So, am I still in line for a single digit chassis number? smile
