What d’yer reckon Vince? Asian correspondent. Believe me, it’s easier to write about them, than to make ‘em. . . .

. . . .in most cases.

I’m giving him more responsibility than he had under Fib’s, and he’s going to edit Cobra magazine on a trial basis.

All in all, this is going to be very very very good for both of us. I believe it will be good for the whole kit car industry.

Den

Perhaps Nigel could do the scoop first test of the Python for Cobra Magazine?

Or a comparison test with other Cobra's?

I have met Nigel on several occasions and spent one memorable trip back with him in my Ultima. A very, very nice bloke!

Well done Den, that move will probably add one more to your circulation figure!

Can you e:mail me some subscription details?

Paul.

Alright Vince, I’ll take that as a No.

Tell you what though, there’s a vacancy that’s just come up that would suit your preferences perfectly.

Need the number?

Hi Paul,
I sent it via Ted’s e-mail message system. No matter, I only requested you to send me an e-mail so that I’ve got your e-mail address such that I can send a booking form (as Ted’s system hasn’t got provision for attachments).

BTW, you’re some Cabby! All the ones around here drive diesel dustbins, certainly none in this local have Ultima’s. Even if they did, I doubt they would go all the way to a kit car show. That Nigel has all the luck

Is a job as "overseas technical correspondent" so or doesn't Vince like you much Den . I like to know as feedback in case I get such an offer.

Hi Willy,
I don’t think Vince’s problem is to do with travel, or foreign food.

I think it’s personal.

Hi Vince,
Perhaps the time is coming (or perhaps has come) when we need to cuddle and make friends . Our sparring isn’t likely to result in anything profitable emerging from your point of view. My p155 taking was never directly aimed at your product, but at embarrassing Fib’s. With that accomplished, I’ve nothing further to gain either.

Think on it

Den - I have sent a mail, do you have it?

The Ultima has sadly gone, so I've changed my name to "Cabby" as someone mentioned my new steed had an uncanny resemblance! (see profile) I'll be sorting him out another day!

Paul,
YHM2
I thought there was something fishy about an Ultima cabby. I worked that out all by myself.

Seriously though, it would be great to have you on board.

I can't hold back no longer....... I have to say I am well impressed.

In one act you have gained so much.
Mr Dean clearly has a following of his own and must be considered a serious asset.

Well Done.

A sincere thanks for these kind words Andy. Considering that we haven’t always seen eye to eye, I take it as a sincere gesture.

As for your further comment about things said in jest, I’d agree that that’s an astute observation too. I’d go further. . . I’d say that things should be taken in their context.

In that regard, I was being very ‘hand on heart’ in what I said in relation to Vince being caught in the cross-fire in my war with Fib’s. I don’t have any absolute views on Python and even if I did they’d be irrelevant as I don’t write features. I’d therefore ask Vince to give my sincere suggestion due consideration.

Nigel is a gentleman and would, I’m certain if asked, report on Python from an impartial perspective. I want the bickering behind me as I’m sure does everybody else.

With good will and even-handedness on both sides it would be sooo easy to bury this bone of contention.

If you're talking about Vince, he didn't respond to this either:

Or has Nigel stopped talking to you now?

Maybe Nigel could ask Vince personally about featuring a Python while they are at Stafford. (Is Nigel still allowed to go to Stafford?)
