first things first...
everyone is entitled to there own opinions about which car is best etc.. or the world would be a very boring place.

i own a road-going g20 and have had nothing but good service with the ginetta FACTORY bending over backwards to help me in times of need.

reading back through previous posts i feel what has been said regarding martin phaff is unfair, but more to the point a public forum is not the place to be voicing such offensive personal attacks.

Before this arguement starts again, i do know the background of the ginetta company and feel that both ginetta and dare are successfully producing good cars, so why not stop whinging and let them get on with it. Im all for public disscusion and rights of free speach but this is going too far.
If you dont like the cars ginetta are producing then fine, no-one is forcing them upon you, but why feel the need to be abusive and pre-occupied with public displays of offensive abuse?

I agree with jamesG20.

I met Martin a few years back while seriously considering a G27. There are a few things that don't stack up with some of the comments made against him. Firstly as his former life was in finance, I think that it would be very unlikely that he would buy an independant car company just to make money - everybody knows that they never do!

Secondly, it is absurd to think that he isn't passionate about the cars. I think that everybody that went round the old factory at Meadowhall came away wanting a G27, a fact that must have at least as much to do with the way in which they are sold as the outright ability of the cars (sorry ginettaG27).

I must admit, now that I can reasonably easily afford a Ginetta, my desires have now switched to an Ultima (which I obviously can't afford), so I'm not really putting my money where my mouth is - but I'd still really like the Sheffield branch of Ginetta to do well.
