Very interesting project. Nice tight lines and very good effort indeed. Any idea on possible OTR prices? Any idea of the anticipated range? Good to see someone is having a go! Good posting fuoriserie!

By looking at this page, I found the following prices :

Mmmmmmmmmm!

Stratospheric prices merely underline the difficulty of actually earning money from such concept vehicles.

Without wishing to be a Dinosaur I think at those prices there will be very few takers if any?

Once again I hark back to the Berekely which remains the best IMO.

Pity given that 60 years have passed since Lawrie Bond wove his magic.

Affordable, fun and inexpensive. Never as yet, equalled, I suggest.

That is the problem I am seeing also. To get a nice quality reverse trike in such small numbers is going to be costly no matter how you look at it.

Even when building your own the cost creeps up as you try to get it to a quality level.

I think that is why the vehicles I am seeing are in the 35K to 65K $US bracket.

I was able to tweak my trike a little more and was able to get some better quality pictures to show the overall look. I am thinking of just adding a little bit of pin striping on the front fenders and rear gas cover. What do you think?

Looks good, but it could do with something to break up the RED nose - pinstripes may well do that (gold?).

Maybe paint the front "forks" a colour other than black also?

Note - not criticizing the trike, just think it could do with some contrast to the black & red.

I think it is a superb effort and a lesson to us all! Bloody well done, you!

Entrely up to you with the embellishments that is a remarkable achievement and an excellent vehicle.

Were I not buried in kit car and classic car rebuilds I would seriously consider something along those lines. Brilliant!

Will you be at any of the shows because your efforts deserve a very wide audience? Best in show in all probability!

Thank you for your input. The silver and chrome adds a third color to the mix.

I want to keep it clean with not too much bling that would detract from the overall look. The plan was to use silver and black to streamline the mounting point of the fenders and to add a small bit of color on the gas tank cover to blend with the silver Eco Exo R logo on the back.

The Bonnet has a pinstripe already and adding something else would seem to take away from the clean look it has now. Adding something on the windshield might be a possibility though.

I will keep the gold in mind but wonder if adding another color in the mix might be a bit much?

Thank you for the very kind words. I felt this was the direction the Eco-Exo-R should go but it looks like it will be a hard road for any more kits or frames to be made.

I will take it to some shows but not to be judged. I found out that most are as we say tightknit and not the fairest in scoring where I live, so I just enjoy going to the shows and talking to everyone.

It has been a wonderful and reliable machine and a quick 15-20 mile ride always ends up being around 120 miles when I get done.smile

I admit to being a sucker for red/gold/black, but I think you are probably right re too many colours, so silver/black for pinstriping may be better.

If it was mine (I wish!), I'd probably start with some pinstriping tape, see how it looks, and then when I was happy with the effect photograph it, remove the tape and redo it properly.

The guy I am bringing it to is a professional pin striper and artist so it kind of in his hands. I gave him the direction of what I was thinking but it is up to him to be creative with it.

We will see what he comes up with when I bring the trike to him next month.

Excellent publication! Huge amount of detaied infrmation. Well done indeed.

Back in the UK now and trying to find time to complte the five cars that I am going to try to finish this year.

Two Westfields to be built up as cars, a 1960's Austin Healey Sprite with the best floor I have seen, BUT not much else a LOT of bodywork needed, a Metro Banham again correctiy registered but in absolute bits and another Banham sprite again correctly registered with a blown 1275 A series Wood and Pickett engine. Oh the joys of motoring!!

Should keep me out of mischief for a white!

Indeed you are correct Fuorserie, the Morgan details are fantastic. Best I have seen of that type! And I have seen a fair few!

We are back in In Setember then in UK and back in Italy in March (God willing)!!

I will certainy look forward to seeing your latest creation!!

Best of luck to you! We could do wrh some really svelte, smooth running, three wheelers.

Surely we can improve of the Berekeley concept.

Not as yet it seems!

shame about the reliability of the new morgan 3W

Pembleton have just launched a new website, showing off the new bullet tail design and their own lightweight wire wheels in the images!
