D,

No problem. A speedy recovery to your machine.

I was thinking of going to Cars & Coffee in Irvine, this Saturday. Do you ever attend that weekly event?

Best,
B.

Sorry, I do not. I have mates that go and hand out flyers for my show. They will attend in the next few weeks. Having a meeting on the 14th to sort out the date. Do you live near irvine?

I'm in Gardena, right now, and Irvine's about a 40 minute drive, from here. In about ten days, I'll be moving to Culver-West, so I thought I'd take advantage of the relative proximity, and see what the designers are bragging about.

Best,
B.

Right. You can go see the Merc deal, but not as good as the UK one. You will be going further away from my location?

Hi D,

I had heard that the SoCal designers sometimes bring their own rides, as well as projects to Irvine Cars & Coffee. These days, I'm less interested in looking at the studios themselves. (especially after just looking at the Benz site, and seeing their F700 concept. Goodness, people, I'm having breakfast. Have the decency to post a warning, will you?

I like that they preemptively show the car on the bottom of the ocean, though.

Right, Culver-West is between Marina Del Rey and Culver City. It's an additional half hour North from Gardena, That puts it approximately two hours North of Fallbrook. Of course, as the local saying goes, "traffic dependent."

Best,
B.

If it's good enough for ivanhoew, It's good enough for me.
:~) Hi Robert.
At least for the time being, I'll get it running with its innards poking through the hood, a bit. Later, I'll see what I can do, by using a forward facing intake elbow. Don't know if it'll clear the distributor, until I get that mounted. I do believe there are caps with side terminals, or I may go with a crank trigger ignition system.

Sounds like you're almost completely dried out by now and there's no more moss covering your car! Jarred and I are sharing a decent work space for our cars. He did a great job finding it and it's pretty inexpensive. Here's a pic.

WOW! What an amazing find! Why is your Morris not covering that perfect floor? I can detect the lack of musty odor, all the way from down here. Good lighting, too. Nice.

You're right. I'm dry, no longer wet behind the ears. Summer here is not as nice as it is where you are, but I'll take it. Mornings are foggy and cloudy, until the marine layer cooks off. The local cars and coffee event is a 15-20 minute walk (Marina del Rey).

Please give my regards to all.

Best,
B.

Right, forgot those two have similar taste in bitters. 75% of the space will likely be allocated to the micro-brew.

Are you intending to out-Royale Ettore Bugatti?

Hi Robert and Mr. B. I was in fact thinking of some brew making. Funny you guys should pick up on that fast! Wow Robert, that looks like a rare Dual Double Overhead Cam engine if I've ever seen one - which I haven't! Great stuff.

In the words of that Hellenic genius: "sweet, delicious beer?" Sorry I'll miss it.

May have to try to sneak by Stone's facility (to replicate your trip) and visit your southern RO counterpart.

:~)

Made a stainless steel bracket, and mounted brake and clutch reservoirs.

That's all, for this weekend.
