Does anyone know where I can get a replacement bonnet stay (the wire one) as I binned mine due to being shod

Frank is this the cable that prefents the bonnet turning to far over? maybe it can be made at a sailing shop(stainless steel)there is a shop just 2 miles away, they can make this !

@tunepipe911; will give you a call tonight @pridaux; as rudy says, its indeed the wire preventing the bonnet to open to far (and scratching my new chrome bumpers !)
Bike cable is not such a bad idea, going to see what I've got lying around

I am using Mini boot lid cables on my bonnet (2 per side to be safe) anchoring between the bonnet frame and the radiator top mounts on the chassis. Looks tidy. Check part number 14A6740 on MiniSpares.com

Mole Vally Farmers Supplies or similar, sell wire cable and the clamps to make any strop you like.
