Lovely Tuscan in the classifieds

V6.
What it costs, what it's worth? Suppose there is a relationship.
It's not a proper car, I would value it as such. It will sell though and someone will be happy with what they have. It looks like the restoration work done is of a good standard.
It doesn't come as a shock that folk are short on the truth with ads. It's just a gripe I have

As a well restored Tuscan V6 with the wrong engine I would see it as 20k.
Having looked at the photos of the underside as a Tuscan V8 I would see a lot more re-engineering being required to make it a bit better. The work looks good but it has been built to a cost. There is a good argument to re-unite it with its V6 Engine with that sort of chassis spec it all looks very standard!!
Again It is frowned upon when I speak of values but their is 20k in that cars build..If a garage wasn't used in the supply of the labour
It looks a nice thing though and there aren't that many to choose from. If someone wants something badly enough then I am sure it will sell for somewhere in the middle acceptable to all
It isn't a V8 Tuscan though. Its a V6 Tuscan with a V8 engine fitted..Thats the rub and is misleading in the ad..naughty

I have seen this car in the flesh , looks every bit as lovely as the pictures make it look.
I brought a Chim rolling chassis from the advertisers dad. He seemed like a nice genuine chap , maybe they don't realise the "error" in the cars description in their ad and will make the correction now that it has been pointed out.
The advertiser has a nice LS7 powered mazda RX7 sprint car too.
Regards
geoff.

"Imitation Is The Best Form Of Flattery"
Well, yes James, but if you're going to imitate properly, you need to change the window frames and glass to 'one piece', like your proper V8 Tuscan has.I'd rather have a real 3000S Turbo for £20k than an imitation V8 Tuscan for £38k (asking price )

I heard there might be a very nice 3000s Turbo on the market, are you tempted to add your fleet?
