Its indeed a lot money for that, I guess that if the engine comes with the car and some documents maybe? it could be worth what some wants to pay for it
If you would ask me what such would be worth (incl engine), I would guess 15k or so, it a lot of work and time and looking for parts etc etc, so a lot comes on top of that.
a few years ago there was a green griffith 200 in the US went for 37.500,- US $ that was a fine price me thinks.

If its the car I am thinking of there is no engine with it I was offered that car about 18 months ago at $35k but decided against it as I was wanting a V8 car but for road use and was advised that although nice to have the driving experience for a road car would be better in a long wheel based car.A
