Trying to get 1,5" exhaust tubing to make the header clearing the frame.
Up to now no result.

Hans
1.75 is easier to get, but you could try the 38mm tube here:

Finally liberated the XJS LSD from it's subframe

and then started lining up the suspension bits to see what I'd missed

Dangerously close to the day when I'll start looking for where I've put the spanners bounce

Andrew,

Great news, especially for your brother, who presumably watches your posts like a hawk. So, you'll be taking it to him, before too long, and opening a spot in the garage.

What's next?

Best,
B.

Final preparations before leaving for an extended Le Mans trip tomorrow smile

Been nice to have had time over the last few weeks to sort a few niggles (drivers window, rack gaiters, new fans, radiator leak, camber and alignment, wheel bearings, etc.). Back to working away when I get back so might not be time for much more TLC for a while frown

Thanks to Adrian@ for bits and advice.

If it hadn't got dark tonight before it was finished I'd have taken some pics, it's not been this shiny for ages! Need cool

Placing the body on the frame.
But that was a problem because it did not fit!!!!!!
Cost a little time and a lot of patients to get it right.
Repatriant the bottom rails of the body could be the problem.
And painting the frame ? .
Hopefully tonight I will get it right after some grinding the body.
Dust again.

Had the enging out for the next step.

Good news is he will go to the painter next week.
