Trying to get 1,5" exhaust tubing to make the header clearing the frame.
Up to now no result.

1.75 is easier to get, but you could try the 38mm tube here:Up to now no result.

Final preparations before leaving for an extended Le Mans trip tomorrow
Been nice to have had time over the last few weeks to sort a few niggles (drivers window, rack gaiters, new fans, radiator leak, camber and alignment, wheel bearings, etc.). Back to working away when I get back so might not be time for much more TLC for a while
Thanks to Adrian@ for bits and advice.
If it hadn't got dark tonight before it was finished I'd have taken some pics, it's not been this shiny for ages! Need

Did one of the very important things today :-) sticker tuning for the wheels and bonnet
'
Now the big question, shall the grill mesh be stainless (as pictured) or matte black ?
Stainless ! Oh, and get a proper M series bonnet badge (noblesse oblige, and all that !) '

edited to say; very nice car !
Placing the body on the frame.
But that was a problem because it did not fit!!!!!!
Cost a little time and a lot of patients to get it right.
Repatriant the bottom rails of the body could be the problem.
And painting the frame ? .
Hopefully tonight I will get it right after some grinding the body.
Dust again.
Had the enging out for the next step.
Good news is he will go to the painter next week.
