Fitted relays to the dip beam. Made a new lead from battery to fuse box for the cooling fans and left as it was raining and bloody cold outside

That looks an expensive rig to hire? Cold here at the moment.

Safe journey!

Thanks D, $736 all in, for the whole rig. Not too terrible.

Driving my dog down seperately, today and tomorrow. Will get in touch.

Best,
B.

Thanks for the wishes for a safe journey, the driving's all done. Andrew, cute pup. Considering that Sam was exhibiting all of the classical symptoms of moition sickness, I'm glad not to have had to be the one to have to hold the airsickness bags.

Best,
B.

Got the flywheel back having been faced. Heads are being sorted.

Got one set of shoes/springs etc on with an old drum and wheel on, other side tommorow, then the back will be rolling, biggrin.

Just need to put the calipers on the front, and then wheels on.

Got a slight issue with the TREs in that at the moment, they don't seem to want to go on very well/if at all, as the steering arm is too low and the pin on the TRE won't go out at enough of an angle to slot down onto the taper.
Is this just because the suspension is at full droop?

Pumped the tyres up so I could pull the taimar back three feet to open the drivers door to wipe off the mould growing on the steering wheel ! really must get a move on with renovating it.......

Cheers
Geoff.

Thought I would have a little tidy up in the garage and see if I could get a car in... Its never had space since i moved in to the house several years ago so it has been quite a challenge.Somehow I managed to fill a skip with stuff I didnt even know I had. And after all the hard work I still cant fit my 2S in as the garage is not quite long enough, modern houses eh? frown
But on a plus note I will be collecting a cheeky 77 Taimar which hopefully will fit in within the next couple of weeks.so it has been worth the effert

Always makes me shocked this.

My Taimar fits in my garage with a foot spare at the front.

My dads Mark 1 focus is too long... Weird the sizing of them!
