What have you done in your Garage this evening??
Discussion
Rest assured they are a pain to line up especially the number 7s as the bottom stud is ot of line to the mesh.
I just rather like the clean lines of the uncluttered bonnet and yes Mat is right easier with a 6 rather than 7 MOT station did not complain today so she has a clean sheet for another year.

Before I post my garage updates - is a TVR 450SEAC a classic ?
Or too modern for this forum.
The SEAC is very much a classic TVR IMO and I would love to see your updates on here rather than miss them as I rarely post on the wedge forum. Or too modern for this forum.

They were always a bit wild and special, even when new.
My car is a 1989 450 SEAC delivered with solid lifters when new.
New price was £49,000.. yikes.
It's been off the road for a few years as I decided to improve the engine a bit.
The engine is a 5.3 Wildcat.
My own 4 into 1 exhausts..they are a tight fit..
Cam is M256.
EMS is Emerald with 30lbs injectors.
Mapping base setting last weekend..sounds harsher due to proximity of fence etc..

Sounds like a good excuse to repost some old photos of my old S2. The as found picture must be as it was new (it as only 10 years old when taken off the road), when I put them back on four years later I sprayed them silver to freshen them up. They were plastic, and presumably the smaller ones. My grille was square mesh and they went back on quite nicely.

Oliver, the blue one next to yours, is that still around, who's car was it?Oliver.
If it's the Tuscan V6 I think it is, I had trip around Goodwood in it several moons ago and was only telling our Christopher about it a few days ago, in fact I was trying to find a photo or some video.

Spent most of the day finishing off the Number plate for the Tuscan Using the period cast ACE numbers and letters and a set for a friends MK1 Vixen which is also going up to the NEC Next week
Its a rather fiddly job but pleased with the results each one drilled and tapped and then studs with thread lock as there is only about three to 4 turns on the stud.
Still the Vixen to do but will do that when the bonnets off later in the winter.

My OCD couldn't be able to cope with that lack of straight bottom edge Andrew. Apologies if the numbers are still to be finally aligned. Its a rather fiddly job but pleased with the results each one drilled and tapped and then studs with thread lock as there is only about three to 4 turns on the stud.

Is it legal? No less so than the the previous stick-on plate.

Like all things on our cars its work in progress.
As the material used for the mesh is not correct the movement is limited but given time its on the list cart before the horse mate

It was owned by Chris Hodgson, a very quick Tuscan V6 which he hillclimbed and sprinted for many years. Neil is right, it caught fire a few years ago and is no more. The red car was a V6 which gained a V8 and is now in Holland (?) and is in Gulf colours.
