I haven’t finished it yet due to the lockdown but the input shaft is bang on correct - I think it’s a long input shaft box. Haven’t modded the gear lever but 30mm can be done (and will be) but it’s about the limit of shortening. Plus - did you modify the gear lever housing yourself to bring it the 30mm forward that's required?

What slowed me up was the exhaust runs VERY close to the old type 5 so I mocked up a spare T5 alongside the T9 and in my case it will JUST work!
As I’ve said this is the only realistic way to do it, and it’s not that difficult and not expensive either.
