Congratulations. I think I saw that one up for sale and it looked like a nice car at a fair price. I'm pretty sure all those parts mentioned will be ok. You might be aware that the ARB & drop links are not Triumph parts. Also might be worth having a very close look at the condition of your front uprights and trunnions before ordering the overhaul kit. Enjoy!

Welcome Pete
Glad you have finally `seen the light` & gone light & nimble with a Vixen.
Enjoy. Ian B.

What sort of gearbox is that? The starter motor on my Vixen is on the other side!

My box is also the three rail 2000E type but is fitted with a hydraulic clutch. I guess the S3 Vixens (cable clutch) has the clutch fork mechanism on the opposite side of the bellhousing to the earlier hydraulic versions? Is that engine the later 711 type?

My S3 Viven has the 2000E box fitted with a hydraulic clutch and the starter is on the drivers side and the clutch slave on the passengers. Surely it's just down to which bell housing is fitted to the gearbox.

It is not my money so......
And I am aware of the prices for these cars.
But the pricing was the intention of my reaction but just the expensive advise (LOL).

I got a ban almost one year ago for posting such old TVR pictures with those ladies on original TVR car pictures in the TVR thread, still can't post there...that was without a warning! and I thought I did nothing wrong in that TVR picture thread....so be warned biggrin

Now do we have to ask for this to be merged with the "Stainless Bumpers" thread?

Best,
