I know nothing of 70s TVR values but it looks cheap for something so pretty and tidy. I wonder whether there was something wrong with it. The comment, "described by the vendor as being mechanically excellent" makes me wonder whether "structurally shot to pieces" could be added afterwards.

But then as I say I know nothing of the value of these things and that might be the price of a good one.

Well i had a meeting in south London today and i had to go past the dealers and what a joy to see one of our little Vixens sitting pride of place in there sales office as you drive past.
Obviously i could not pass without stopping and going in and running my hands over her perfect shape.
And Yes guys you really did miss the bargain of the year.
I know there has been some who feel that the dealer is taking the Piss however he has had 2 offers from our friends over the water both at 18k.
The car is just as they say one owner and as much as i love my shiny bits and as clean as when it came out of the factory i fell in love with this car for its originality and patina that goes with her age nothing messed with changed or altered and i do believe that the price reflects that.
Not 100% sure the seats have not been changed as i would have expected the basket weave not cloth but i am sure someone enlighten us.
Dont miss the next one wink
