Maybe he's poorly grounded.

I'm not sure beer and wiring would make a particularly good combination.

We solved the crimp vs solder issue though... Crimp THEN solder!!

We've pertty much finished the "taking out" and are starting the "putting back".

Cheese next time please Andrew.

It was good to see you too Andrew and thanks for the fish & chips. I need to get the Vixen cleaned up so I can take some pics for the insurance valuation. I'll post a couple of them when done ... if it ever stops raining.

Took the day off work today as the weather forecast was reasonable. Gave the 2500 its first wash in ages ready for the insurance valuation photos. There was no time for polishing as it started to cloud over. A photo shoot at one of the Gower beaches would have been nice. A nubile blonde draped over the bonnet would have been even better. Dark clouds were looming so the local bingo hall car park had to do. I must try harder next time.

Now that picture Chis is something we would love to see especially the Blond but she wont outshine your car and the Gower coast that would be great Caswell bay Three Cliffs or Langland or even overlooking the life boat center on Mumbles peer all childhood haunts of mine i even walked the coast on half term with a back pack and a tent on my own when i was 14 you are so lucky to live so close to such great places to take that car
I will look forward to that picture

Quite possibly the last time out for a drive in the car this year. Starting to put a list of things to get done for next year.
The wipers do not park, the blower is less than useful, the speedo cable broke and possibly fit a new interior or really an interior at all.

Being member of the Dutch TR Club Holland (TRCH) I went to the their yearly parts meeting.

Needed some Triumph parts for the Vixen.
And sa some friends.

Found a new rubber donut for the top balljoint.

So monday back to the garage for fitting these parts.

Sorry for the pics.
I didn't had coffee yet.

They are Compomotives. Correct off-set. No spacers required. Tire fitted is 215/45 17". Rides a little stiff. Corners flat.smile

Big thanks to my friend, Spencer, for inviting me out for a spectacular day of driving through some beautiful scenery, on great roads in his '89 Esprit turbo, while being in the excellent company of other enthusiasts.

It was a great event, put on by Afshin Behnia, and his cohorts, at Petrolicious.

At one point, we broke away from the group, and I had my first (hopefully of many) experience of "the snake."

Thanks, Andtew,

As I did not handle the driving chores, the police were told there was no money to be made.
