Arthur, Would you mind me asking what size wheels and tyres you're running (offset info would be useful )
Cheers

They are Compomotives. Correct off-set. No spacers required. Tire fitted is 215/45 17". Rides a little stiff. Corners flat.

Do you think 215s will work, for what you're building? With a larger diameter wheel, you can get more rubber to the inside of the car. (Rear)
By the way, what sort of power figures do you expect?
Best,
B.
Not sure what I want on the car Bernard, 15" wheels will give me room for brakes, 16" was kind of s maximum. I had considered 225 width, maybe a bit wider??
Power wise, 410, 415 on uk fuel, but this will be a road car that will be driven like Miss Daisy for most of the time we will use it

P.S. Pretty certain there's room to get 235s under the back, with the right offset. Not sure if it can be done with 16s.

Drove for almost 9 hours plus ferry today in order to repatriate this
Yes it is as nice as it looks and probably a bit of a steal at current euro exchange rates
Another MkIII for you collection Rene
Lovely car. Did it have anything to do with your fondness for blue? Yes it is as nice as it looks and probably a bit of a steal at current euro exchange rates

Best regards,
Bernard.
Had a bit of fun in Holland at the weekend with 50 other pre 66 FIA racers - until the new engine decided to say 'enough'. No TVRs to be seen in any of the races

Thanks chaps. Not bad for an 1815cc Volvo B18 engine from an old Amazon or PV544, is it?
Yes I think I have got the measure of the car now, the improvement in lap times over last year is all in later braking and corner speed
The misfire is on the overrun and we think is a small air leak made worse by having to run a 2nd silencer across the back of the car

Nice one handed driving in the corners.
Pity of the engine.
I had loved to see you drive but was for weekend drive through the Eiffel with the Triumph TR friends.
Loved the tour nevertheless.
