It has to be said tha I haven't seen your car in the flesh but the pics and "You Tubes" I've seen of it it looks beautifully prepared and the unobtanium bits you got from me have made massive improvements in the way it appears to drive. A real credit. Let me know if you ever get ooop.north and I would like to come see it in the flesh. Maybe Neil could bring you some moulded rubber performance enhancing bits.

Working on a prototype as we speak. I quickly moulded one up last night. The base needs a little more work to allow for the chrome bezel.
These will be for the man who wants that personalised touch with his car and is prepared to spend that little bit more on chintzy items for it..

hi guys. thanks for all the feathers. feels really good. mine is shiny however, rather short and has 3 holes to spit venom from. so far only 2 condoms to protect it and i think i will hold on to them as i may need them in the future, to finish this one for instance. oh yes: i have the chrome rings still, so don't bother on my behalf. all the best.

Anyone still interested in obtaining Sparto light boots?

The latest edition of the TVR Times, the newsletter for the TVR Car Club of North America, has an article illustrating that a gentleman by the name of Bill Rachel, from Dominion Spares LLC, is in the process of developing Sparto rubber light boots utilizing an traditional injection mold system. The article goes on to say that those interested in obtaining these light boots may contact him telephonically at 703-991-0179 or via email at [e-mail] to register interest. It appears that if there is sufficient demand, he will take pre-orders and do a run of these boots. With a limited run, he is asking $75 US plus shipping. Seeing I paid way, way, way too much for four NOS Sparto light assemblies via the web (I really wanted the rubber boots because I already had the rest of the stuff) to complete my restoration (I was looking for Sparto boots a great while back via this thread), $75 for these boots would have been very reasonable in comparison...especially considering the ease of acquiring good reproduction and/or NOS lenses/chrome rings on the web.
