M bumpers

I imagine owners have seen this, but for those that haven't.....

eBay item 351015764240 is a company that sell new stainless bumpers. Expensive, but I doubt they are easy to come by. I do remember one of the specialists said he had made some in the past though..

be carefull to check if they fit correctly. Harrington Group used to produce bumpers for Lotus Elan +2 models and could not produce them correctly and in the end gave up supplying them

I took some pictures on Sunday of what can only be described as the best fitting bumpers I have ever seen the first one is OE on a 1600M and fitted as intended
The Second one fitted on a later Taimar and made and fitted so well I was rather impressed with the finish and the rubber finishing strip on the inner edge although not original it really looks like it should have been fantastic just shows what can be achieved especially with stainless as these sets will not create this first off but with some work and cutting and polishing afterwards that's what could be achieved.
