Theres someone on the phone about the car Dear
Hello can i help you
Caller
Yes my name is Dafid and i saw the car for sale and wanted to know a bit more it looks rather nice but i wonder if you could tell me some more as i dont know much about these cars (probably not that untrue )
Well yes i live here in Blackpool and these cars where made here you know i bought it a while ago and have done some work to it such as brakes and tyres and its been restored many years ago but not used for a long time so i did some work on her.

Interesting by the way what model is she
Well its a 1972 and in 72 they where changing over to the M series so she has the M series chassis and the Vixen Body as they did that for a while.
Caller
Thats interesting as i was rather confused as looking on the webb site other Vixens looked rather different
No it is a Vixen body its the same as my sons car and he sold that one a few weeks ago and that was a Vixen and looked exactly the same.
Caller
Well i will have to ask around but should it be a Vixen i will get back to you
Thank You
Just to clarify the above call the day before i went on cars and classic and sent the seller an e mail in a nice way pointing out his mistake and telling him that the car was actually a 1600M not a Vixen and that it would be prudent to correct his advert and wishing him well with the sale.
It was only after seeing that it was still not corrected that i made the call.
The original intention was that i would point out his mistake but when he said he lived in BLACKPOOL and thats where they where made and he knew a bit about TVRs i just kept up the facade.
Its no the first time we have seen cars wrongly listed especially on other sites we see cars advertised as Griffiths that are vixens or m series but i think thats the first one as a Vixen.
