Hi to one and all and a special hello to those I met at the Le Mans classic.
I am at present reconstructing a '69 Tuscan V6 and am missing a glove box......has anybody out there got a spare or something excess to requirements or maybe a good source for one.
I think they are the same dash as a Vixen so assume that would also work.
Thanks in advance for any leads....Luke

I think the later ones were resin and are probably infinitely superior to the hardboard/hardura type which was in my 69 Vix.

I took the old glove box out, which I presume was original. It was basically a piece of cut and folded hardura. I took it apart and folded it flat and used it as a template to make a replacement. I still have the battered old one which you are welcome to borrow to use as a template if you wish. I don't live far from the Surrey border so PM me if you would like to use it.

Or send it to me and I will cut one out of the remainder of Andys Hardura as he kindly passed the rest on to me to make the formers for the back of the Tuscan seats however the plastic one I have in the Vixen is good and I used an M series one on the Tuscan cutting it back as the clearance is less than on the M series and there is enough left to make another
However a fiberglass box properly screwed to the back ie more screws than OE really does add strength to that side of the dash as once the door is cut out that part of the dash is very week

This all sounds very promising and the thought of someone else making it for me even better.
It's a very kind offer .......I do have an expert fibreglass man who could make something up with a template and if that will really strengthen that side of the dash then maybe that is the way to go.
I will contact both parties by PM
Thanks, Luke
