Love and hate the side exhausts at the same time. The cheeky bumper-less shape is great. Might want to replace the dash but overall, appeals to the hooligan in me. Want it biggrin

nice find, wide body style, and lots of details...maybe a bit to much under the hood...
change some things here and there, and you can have a lovely little monster.

steering wheel is on the "right" side biggrin so good for this side ;-)
wonder what the end price will be.

I've just noticed the chassis number makes it a 2500 with the Vixen chassis. I suppose it could have done with the M chassis with that engine. I know nothing about Chevy V8s. Are they alloy or iron blocked? It looks like it's got two alternators - but I know nothing about these engines. I still think it's a beast!

Yes Niels Automatic changing gears is a little complicated for some
If I was to make any changes the exhaust would have to go the gear box go back to 5 speed the dash go maybe even do an SE dash and seats that would work as the car is never going to be original and change things to at least period items IMOP and of course wire wheels or period wheels and tyres and tone done the hot rod look of the engine bay a bit and I guess if those things there done then she woul be a reasonably nice car but I don't think the byer would do that.
As we have seen already there is a bum for every seat and someone will love it just the way it is and good luck to him or her.

looks like the Vixen with what our Belgian expert wink thinks has an S series bonnet sold in 2012 for $18500 not a lot for all the things done regardless of what you think of the end result sounds like the original seller saw the light and bought a Griffith 400 just hope he did not destroy that one

On Aug-11-14 at 12:46:00 PDT, seller added the following information:
Please note this is obviously a Griffith not a griffin replica based on a 1971 TVR Vixen

Too bad about the auto box, . . . and the hideous wheels, . . . and the fact that they bolted the heaviest engine in it that they could find, . . . and the front wing treatment, . . . and all the ways the interior could have been done a little better, . . .

If I bolt those lights into a Cortina, can I call it a Griffith replica?

Best,
B.

Nit pick,hmmm, let's see .....

"ALL POSTERS - GET YOUR FcensoredKING APOSTROPHES IN THE RIGHT PLACE !!"

What ? Oh.... the *car*.......right.......

Yeah could be a vomit but I agree it's probably a real biglaugh in a straight line and a yikes on corners.

Nice paint job, but I never could understand this American thing with sports cars and automatics. I guess it's what happens when most of the drivers can't drive a "stick shift". Sad buggers....
