Those are Vitaloni Sebring. My Father's Indy 4700 America had those, from new. I love them on any 60s or 70s car, especially curvaceous ones. Similar, but not Les Leston. That mirror is a little longer. As my first car was equipped with a Leston Steering Wheel, and Leston air intake trumpets, I am a big fan of any offering bearing that logo.

Best regards,
Bernard.

Been on my mind since earlier today and I think they will go very well on the Vixen. smile

They are perfect so long as you don't want to see behind you.

I think TVR neglect like this is still a hanging offense in England, right?

lol...its sad indeed, but I guess there is a story behind that seeing some parts were already out?
maybe the owner could not finish what he/she started...maybe a sad story.

Hopefully we will get to see some pictures of it if the new owner puts it back on the road

hope so too, did a quick search and this seems to be the new owner who's gonna restore it.

Interesting - do you think these can be handed or one side only - cant see the fixings?

My English is not that good so I don't get exactly what you mean?
do you mean if they are adjustable? this type the outside not, if you pay more you can get those type
on 'stands' then also the outside is adjustable.

those 'fixed' type only the glass is adjustable I think I saw on the web, you first mount the basis on the car incl glass and then you seem to slide the cover over it.

here a picture I believe you can see the underside>

and here what I mean with the sliding? part, in the example its a mirror on 'stands' but I think the principle is the same (sort of)

here you also can see it>

and here a classic example on 'stands'

a far better price then say those (but original) mirrors>

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEBRING-RACING-MIRROR-PORS...

and a whole lot better then those absurd and not original looking mirrors, those look 'modern' style
and some old box and ad...mixed tho confuse...? just look at the pictures inside.

Mmm. I've asked the German guy about the ebay ones and fixing details as the photos don't show and it would be typical to but them and find theres a widget needed. Those others - at £1000+ I think I will give them a miss! They look good though. The 1970 mini mirrors on mine might have to do a bit longer.
ps 'handed' = can go on right or left hand ie can be a mirror image

How do you manage to save these pics in a large format? When I save them they end up at about half the original size?

If using an iPad or tablet, the easiest thing is just to take snapshot of the full size photo.
