GFV 182D does indeed have a strange history, in its Grantura guise Tommy Entwhistle is pictured beside it it in "Success against the odds". It now lives in Cornwall, where it has been for some while, used as a hillclimb car with the Rover V8 and auto box! The current owner has done a lot of upgrades during his ownership, but in all the rebuilds there has been no sign of any other engine mounts on the chassis, part of TVR's murky past! If only the car could tell us its history. Geoff
that GFV-182D looks like a Griffith, probably sounds like one too and could have the power of one with the base engine (195 or so hp), around 200hp or so in such Rover?
I guess it will be lighter as well then a Griffith 200 wit the iron 289 engine?
