Early TVR Pictures

OFR 3G - Does anyone know anymore about this orange Tuscan? I am 99% sure this car used to belong to a guy I used to work with in Hollingborn, near Maidstone Kent. If it is the same car it's totally responsible for me being a TVR nut ever since he took me for a spin in it - must have been about mid 1980s. Does anyone on hear own it now?

Rene,
This photo is interesting it looks like a Mk3 but the caption says it has a Coventry Climax engine. I understand these engines were listed for the early Mk3's but have yet to come across one. It could however be a late Mk2 with the Mk3 style bonnet.
Do you know the source of the photo.
Rob
Could be a early mk3 (with the mk2 rear?) and maybe one of the first for the show?
sadly no plate.
