Some splendid Classic TVR on this thread , particularly this silver Tuscan - lovely.
Are those Wolfrace(?) all polished or have the centres been finished in silver body colour ?.
Remind me of period Halibrands and there's nothing wrong with that .
I think they are Wolfrace maybe even soda blasted then diamond cut and polised part way in I am not sure though but a stunning car its only when you look at this thread as it grows what a wonderful variation of cars we have still alive and giving Smile to not only those that own and drive themAre those Wolfrace(?) all polished or have the centres been finished in silver body colour ?.

I forgot what that was, I mean such bonnet with that different air scope, not that I'm a fan of such, or that it was a big hit, but you don't see that many with such.
That is the Sausage Bonnet fitted to allow for the extra space needed on the US cars to comply with there emissions regulations not very pretty IMOP A
Beautifully Restored Early MK1 light weight Vixen
One of the last MG fitted Vixens engine is a Huffaker engine

I hope Matt doesn't mind me posting a pic of his car but this shot is one of my favourites and is so very 60s. Looking forward to seeing this car restored to it's former glory.

The car in the monochrome shot (FGJ149J) is Gary Pritchard's Vixen turbo, as featured in Sprint in May 2010. It would be good to Gary and the car again this weekend.
Oliver.
I think it still is having the front re modeled after a little re modeling after it had an incident at a track day earlier in the year and not on track either was at Brooklands with me new years day in the Rain fast car though he is a rather clever boyOliver.

How many Tb of pictures do you have Rene ? Hats off tho, very impressive !

I spoke to a guy by mail in 2006, who is the owner of a lovely Griffith 200 with 350hp, it was for sale and I was Interested, but bought something else which I was also looking at.
Still have those pictures of that car etc, and a few weeks ago I tried to look things up and see if I could find his mail address again (lost a lot info with PC crash a few years ago) but still had some minor info.
I found it and also the car which seems still in his possession, at least seen some pictures of it in action at some sport event road tour/thing in 2013 I believe it was, so I thought, when the time is there (read sold my car and so have free space and money) I would contact him/car again for that lovely Griffith 200, price was not bad by then en the car looked (at that time) like 'new'
the rest of that info I keep for myself, I don't want to wake up other Griffith 200 buyers

Why is it every time I come back to this thread I end up wanting to ditch the Tuscan for a Grantura.....? that grey car with brass spinners is beautiful
Just looking in the Classics section and there are some Stamford University picture files linked which includes some pictures of the US spec 2500M, link here :- https://revslib.stanford.edu/?q=TVR&utf8=%E2%9...

Yes the thread is fantastic and yes a lot is out there on the net somewhere but pulling it all together here makes even those of us with older cars appreciate what we are lucky enough to have.Just looking in the Classics section and there are some Stamford University picture files linked which includes some pictures of the US spec 2500M, link here :- https://revslib.stanford.edu/?q=TVR&utf8=%E2%9...
