A couple of weeks ago I posted on this forum asking if anyone on here knew of the whereabouts of a Tuscan OFR3G. This car was owned by a guy I worked with in the late 80s and the car is totally responsible for my obsession with all things TVR today. Well, the power of the Pistonheads fraternity did not fail me and I soon had a response from Dave telling me that he knew of the car and the same guy still owns it to this day. To cut a long story short I was reunited with the car and owner last Wednesday at our regional TVR meet in Maidstone. We had a great night catching up on the past 25 years!

So a big thanks to Dave, good to meet you and also congrats on becoming our new RO - will be seeing you next month

Thanks - John

I think it is Thruxton Jon, and yes, our car is the first of the TVRs.

With the concrete wall it looks more like Donington to me.

The red car no 112 is the Mike Bigland built Tuscan for Richard Taft then bought by Martin Lilley now in red and raced by Ted Worswick then by Brian Hough to race the rest is history, regards Alan

Our Griffith 200 - Chassis 23 which we've owned since 2001. Still has the original unmolested body and rraced all over the US and Europe and we hope to get the car back out again maybe next year - it's all ready to go!

Great to see the photos Louise and hear that you are still enjoying the car. Liked the article in Practical Classics a couple of months ago on your (and Jason's) collection.

Oliver.

Hi Andrew,

After 2012 posts on this topic started by yourselves, at last you can drive your beautiful car.
I enjoyed the pics of the restoration and learned a lot of it.
Hope to start my engine coming weeks.

Keep the good TVR's rolling.

Hans
