Looks like a great thread that I probably could add 1 or 2 pix to. However, I need a week or more to go thru the 127 pages! rolleyeseek (That way I can reduce the odds of duplicates.. )

I noticed several I snapped in the first place in the first few pages.. hehe

And a few more I missed including a nice early MK1 with original unusual bumpers now those would be fun to polish

This is a 'chopped'(home-modified) bonnet to help with cooling during racing...there are lots of period photos of it (or an identical one!) competing...clearly it has been 'grilled' to use on the road at some point. I'm sure someone will locate a pic and put it on here. Where is it now?

There is a similar modification on Roger Stanger's Mk1 but I don't think it is that car. See page 164 Filby the early years.

Does anyone know more about the car - I assume it an early Grantura?

Don't know, there was a for sale ad a few weeks or so ago, but only this picture and not that much info,
so no current pictures of chassis number known to me.
