Bill,

Do you have any history / details of the first owner(s) of your Grantura. I see from the online registry it is chassis number 7/f/169. Do you know if it was rebodied with a Mk2 shaped body or if the chassis number is just TVR peculiarity.

Thanks

Rob Pennington
I have the logbook that came with car, but did not look close to see body changes, etc. It has had a 1500 Ford in it since the early 70's I believe. Its still in the trailer..banghead.. and thats at the back of the yard.

Do you have the names of the first few owners so I can see if it was raced.

Hello everybody,
How can be the black M from 1970 ?
Afaik, the M went out in 1972, and not before.
It's a subject we talk about in France. As this car seems to be advertised other there.
For me, the first M had the following chassis number : 2240TM
Mine (which is advertised on Ph) has the 2244TM number.
It's from may 1972.
Anybody has a clue ?

That sounds very good Andrew. The second TVRpre80s-meeting is planned for 19th to 21st May next year at the same place at Einbeck/Germany. You will find more details soon on Patricks blog at www.tvrpre80s.com.
Cheers A.

Will have to see what the Dates for Zolder and Spa Classic are if possible it could make a great road trip to combine all three I am sure there would be a few up for that in 2017

Hi Andrew,

Could be a challenge, because Spa-Classic is on the second and the TVR PRE 80’S OWNERS AND FRIENDS meeting is planed for the third weekend in May. The 36th Continental Meeting is in June.

That's a shame its great when Spa and Zolder are the same weekend if you can plan it one year for the weekend before Spa in a year when Zolder and Spa are the same weekend people could make a 10 day holiday with 4 days touring in between

I think this will never happen, because Spa Classic is in beginning of May and Zolder since years mid June. So come over for Spa and visit the Pre 80s Meeting afterwards.
