Is it me or does there seem to be more Griffiths out there than where ever built ?
Shhhhhhhhh
I had a quick Count/look and there has been only around 60 Griffiths featured in this thread, give or take a few that I must have missed and many more have survived according to the register and couple of hundred were made so we will just have to let people continue downloading their pics, I find them all interesting, regardless
Just look at all the 1973 911 RS, there must be twice as many around in comparison to what was ever produced. The cars get more expensive and suddenly we notice few of them sharing the same VIN number, then there´s all the "almost" historic race cars...I don´t think the Griffiths will be any different
in the future. I think its good that Mike M keeps track of the cars and the US Griffith crowd seems to have a very good idea of whats good and what is not.

Yes it is definitely a real 'un, just thought I would add a tongue in cheek comment to follow the previous comments. That photo was taken at the Motel Heerlen in 1995 when Simon Bridge (far left in photo) owned it and used it as a road and track day car. He later sprinted it, now it is a race car and I am trying to arrange with the owners to do a feature on it for Sprint..I love the Think ?

Rene,
I think the photo of APH 223B is Paddy Gaston at Spa in 1964.
I'm sure you are aware the car is a MK3 not a Griffith so you may need to re-file the photo.
Regards
Rob
