Rene,

My family own this car - the work was carried out after it left the factory.,

Rob
great, interesting (different) car with some history, so not work from the factory.
The flared arches, and colour change, was done in early 1976, by local bodyshop for Martin Bolsolver. The following week the car was then sent to Mike Bigland's for a service, tidy up the electrics and yet more suspension work. The engine had been Blue-printed in early 1973 by the previous owner.

nice, not many of those around, wasn't that the story of some left over Griffith body's and kept those in the UK and made those in RHD, I forgot the story in the book, don't know exactly anymore biggrin

good story David.

You are correct about left overs. NOT a story...badged as a 200 Griffith and documented and the real deal. I could bore you with details, but not worth the time. Was raced in the UK with flares, etc.
Best,
D.

I know, some very poor pictures in that file, I don't know why I've put those in nuts
I did not make those, maybe when I get much older and more shaking, I can reproduce such biggrin

it has a 'nice' sort of ducktale, you don't see that so often.

the rest of that car, the first picture is not much better...>

Very well known and admired genuine Tuscan V6 Targa. TVR owners longed for open top motoring and TVR did not deliver till the 3000S which although gorgeous was a massive disappointment to those non scuba diving owners.

This car was a clever way to acheive cabriolet TVRing and still having structural strength (which the 3000S doesn't,t have).

It now lives in SW France with a dear friend of mine in a stable many would envy, including a GENUINE Tuscan V8 SE. It now sports a "Griffith" style convertible roof with targa roof panel and a fold down rear section.

If you saw it now you may want to eat that vomit for the chance to own it.
