Those are from an episode of the "The Saint" If I remember correctly. I think this car may still be around. The vixen register contains a series one that the owner believes was once driven by Roger Moore, so maybe it was this one.

My series one was also gold at one point. Maybe the owner saw that episode and decided the colour scheme was what he wanted.

Mine also had bright pink door jams at one point too, presumably to make the open doors more visible, so not all owners had great taste!

I forgot, what was it with those bonnets, you have some with the small air inlet and some with the wider air inlet like that Saint Vixen and some without such sort, I guess also different engine types?
I've read about that with the smaller inlet a while ago, but now seeing the wider central one in the bonnet I was wondering.

Look at the scuttle / bonnet closing panel on this one, looks about 2 inches deep???

It is still very much alive and kicking down here in sunny Hampshire (well maybe not so sunny at the moment). It is still a TVR 2500 though no matter what the number plate may imply. wink
