Hi folks, I don't suppose anybody has any old photos of my 1973 3000M, registration BTJ 336L? Previous reg was 66 KD and original reg was XTE 451L if that helps. It's the car that was left abandoned in Bowness, Lake District from 1992 - 2010. From the history I have, it was based in Lancashire all of it's life until I rescued it.

Yes, it's Aquatic Jade green and it's always been that colour. Wasn't holding out much hope for any photos as it seems to have spent it's life below the radar. Next try is the list previous owners...http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Where's #4 off to? I can't for the life of me figure how he could end up in that position. If he'd spun from the right hander he'd probably be nearer the camera, so I guess he's either spun very early in the corner or spotted an ice-cream van and decided to pop off for a cheeky cone..Excellent pic tho! I love these early racing shots

The car spinning in the pic is the one restored with the horrible box arches pictured a few pages ago.Excellent pic tho! I love these early racing shots

I think hats off to the sympathetic restorer who has kept the history intact..i wouldn't have been so brave.
As for spinning tidgy swb cars.. I can vouch that they tend to go in all sorts of odd directions
