When I bought my Vixen S2 in 1986 this Vixen was running around Keighley. At the time it was red with a white model band and used daily, it was a practical alternative to the owner's Ducats V twin Hailwood replica! Glad to know it is still about, but think I preferred it as a Vixen. Strangely, I never photographed it as was.
Oliver.

Yes I can post again biggrin Thanks PH for the switch/help thumbup
I've had to change my email because of the old one will end (sadly) in January or so, so I went for another, but then could not post for a few days (react on post also not) till now, ...so now I can drop more pictures and give ractions in posts again, got lots left for the coming time.

I go further were I left, in the Vixen files, here a lovely Vixen S3 with Alfa 120hp TC engine.
car WBO-900K it was back then (03 0r 04-2014 or so) for sale for a very good price, priced to sell.

I spoke to the lady owner of this car a few years ago. It was immaculate at that time and she had spent an unbelievable amount of money on the restoration. Sadly she subsequently decided to sell.

hm, I wanted to open the next file and thought, that looks the same...it is the same car, other pictures though,
so here comes

set 2 from 3 with GUG 372K

now I see those pictures again, I think the price was more correct back then when it came for sale, under the hood it is/was a bit light rusty surface on some parts, I guess this was before they made it better, the first set pictures you not see the rusty air filter thing for example.

René,

Thank goodness, for your obsessive behavior, and for Andrew's idea to start this thread.

Best,

Yes! I sold the Vixen to Ian and appear in the photo second in from the left as you view it. My first TVR and I loved it. Since then I have had a 3000M, S1, Griffith 4.0 and currently have a Griff500. Seeing the Vixen again stirs great memories. What do you mean by saying you've bastardised it?

This was taken in 1991 at Lemans. Ian Keers owned my car before me. It was originally Silver, had a period in white and then returned to Silver when ian restored it. It was a southern based car but apart from this and a couple in book I have very few of TMD 24F before I bastardised it…Do any exist?? Anyone recognise themselves...

and now I understand the last 2 parts with this car, I also had the price typed on them, picture says 2013 (the last 2 parts) and 01-2014 the first part were some parts shine again biggrin there the price was a lot higher.

anyways, lovely cars those round(ish) curved classic TVR's in the early TVR picture thread.
