bit deceptive, as that engine may be very exciting, but does not produce 400BHP. With that dual plane manifold, it should have the low end stump-pulling torque of a tractor.

Why does it say "M chassis?" I can't see any distinguishing M chassis members, like the high upper engine bay ones, or the front crossmember.

Best,

Alloy heads so I would say about 320 - 330 flywheel HP.

As I recalled from the time the owner said it has around 350hp or so not 400hp from the article.

M chassis? don't know, perhaps its a Vixen 2500 chassis? sadly I lost the emails from Kash of that time caused by some PC crash, so i don't know all the specs anymore.

part 2 with that lovely 'Tuscan' V8

491-TNL = tuscan v8

edited to ad plate numbers so google can find them back.

here, the pictures are still online, although not updated since 2005

http://www.tvr.at/vixen2-28.html

it says
said:
S2 - LVX1664/4

also Converted Car to Ford 302 V-8
Toploader four speed trans
Jaguar rear end (at the time)

but I don't know if thats for the chassis and what it means, maybe it can tell something about what chassis if its from that car.

Got some more for you, don't know exact what sort chassis this is, guess a TVR 2500 or Vixen 2500?
anyways, 302 and exhaust headers, although not compleet and I've seen other even more close to the engine headers elsewhere.

from picture 78 to 94 close ups and detail pictures more or less.

with this set up>

I know what you mean. At one point, I had most/all of Joe Rauh's Griffith database saved to my computer, but the files were corrupted, and then, lost.

Best,

Looks like a 100% custom frame. That's no TVR - its a custom car with a TVR vixen body on it. Good thing you did not buy it. Looks like the guy that built it is a drag racer. Rear end looks like it was pulled from a Jag.

I suspect that a high % of the chassis is TVR.
The Salisbury diff is no stranger to a TVR of the 60s to 80s era?

Is it a TVR? Depends on your outlook I guess.

the last 2 pictures with the chassis and V8 etc are not from that Vixen/Tuscan V8 from Kash, just some pictures from a TVR event in the USA/Canada? forgot.
those were ment for an example in case of the exhaust headers.

It is Kash's chassis.
Its a hybrid M frame running a JAG IRS, The diff looks to be later GKN / Dana rather than Salsbury.

Kash bought the car shortly after it was built.

You can just make out the lower shock bolts on the jag arm on the rear shot of Kash's car.

I don't know If Dr Kash Biddle still owns the car or not. Thoroughly nice guy.

One of the nicest TVR's built if you are not too anal about originality..Lovely daily driver. and bomb proof mechanically.

Note also the stainless outriggers.

are you sure?

I took those chassis pics from this>

http://www.tvrccna.org/emAlbum.cgi?cmd=show_image&...

yes he is also a member there or was, but I see different tires, but those you change often, but also red ignition cables, the car from Kash has black cables, I'm not sure but it can, sadly no tekst with the pictures.

and different distributor cap (coil pack distributor?) and different dynamo...

also those pictures are from 2012 so it says, and Kash had it way before that, so I think its more something like that car from Kash?

Unless there were more than 1 built…Chassis is certainly same build That said It isn't clear in Kash's engine shot whether its an M Frame .Maybe there were 2..Work looks to be same original Builder though.

Dave Hunt, of New Jersey, is responsible for both the chassis and for building the car that Dr Biddle owns.

He also built a 3000S with a Buick V6, which won 'best of show' at Woodwork in 2011 and 2012.

I was there and have seen them for myself.....

And a Happy X-mas to you Mr Lyons. The chassis and Kash's car share the same style..Very nicely done. I was in contact with Kash just before he bought the car. I guess his was purchased to fund the next project for mr Hunt. Very impressive work.
