I guess this was one of the owners? At least with the number plate there you'll be able to do a HPI check.
Easy enough to apply for a new logbook too, just need to get the chassis number which by the looks of it would have to come from the factory records as I doubt it's still readable on the chassis.
People have done it with Minis with a whole let less to go on than that.

Or you could rescue this one they keep appearing and you get a complete steering wheel with this one its great to see that so many cars keep appearing testament to the laziness of the scrap merchants I think the fact that maybe they could not crush them like a metal car to get the steel out put them off its rather cool that the rare car in 10 years time will still be rare but just not quite as rare

Might be a good project for Fat Rat as being sold by Fat Lad now that a coincidence http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

He is just mixing his words in that the Laycock overdrive box fitted to a TVR has a version that also fits to a Triumph (do not ask me which/what Triumph and the nuances of the Triumph boxes).
BUT the TVR has OD several versions fitted the Essex engine, firstly the Tuscan V6, mated to the Jaguar diff, the the M mated to the Triumph 3.45 (I think that most of the factory blurb relates to cars with the 3,45 diff right up to 1980 ..not 100% sure with that BUT hey I'm going to go into my loft and read up on it).
