No chassis number at all on this car and rotten chassis between the bulkhead and doors which will require extensive repairs according to the seller. He says that he has only owned it for a month but his plans have now changed.
Quite a few other bits missing as well such as all bumpers.

Just out of interest how much would a set of good second-hand (metal bumpers) cost to buy, if of course you could find any?

Its been for sale several Times over the last 12 months Bumpers well how much are they worth to you then probably double it

They are worth to me £2.50 for each quarter bumper. Four quarters = £10.00. Double that and I will pay £20.00. Now who has a set to sell me then.

They fetched £21-50.

Started at 20K, then 15K, then 12K then 10k now 8.5K

First time on ebay highest bid was 6850 (BIN 12K)

Second time on ebay highest bid was 5850 (BIN 10K)

even with outriggers rotten and needing bumpers for £8500 it looks like it could be an interresting project. But then i have a weakness for classic cars

This gives you some idea anout £125 a corner and probably a premium for a complete set

There is no one making the early bumpers and the original Rubber M series are OS and I believe available as Fiberglass instead From Adrian the same applies to the early cars and David Gerald do them in Fiberglass which you spray silver or Body colour.
A set of Original new Rubber did come up this year and sold for £650
There is a set of new early Vixen Grantura ETC bumpers out there that may be for sale but I will let the owner pop a picture of them up here if he wants to sell them to go on the right deserving car.

As I am intending to have my car "refreshed" then I would be very interested in a full set of Grantura quarter bumpers if anyone has a set that they would consider selling please.

Whats wrong with the set on the car are they fiberglass?

No they are not fibreglass but the front quarters have been cut at one end to fit the Sprint bonnet and if I do replace that bonnet I would like a decent set of front quarters.
