In the closed position mine look like this!


The small thread holes are no longer round, are these is the correct position?

Swap it to the other side...the thin part of the wedge is at the top.

I said prep, paint and make them look pretty....biglaugh, well done that man, I have drilled out the top strut mountings for you to swap onto your struts, when the door hinges wing their way back to you.

Finally got around to fitting some bits.

Foot hinges (no pics atm though) and the rear struts tops.

Pics of old ones show the bad states...



As you can see the holes are ovaled....

And also the previous 'fix'....




Anyway, all fixed and alot better!
